3 out of 5 stars Hmmm...   February 5, 2008

I thought this game was a bit weird, to be honest. I like playing on the mini-games, but they don't come up very often as it is only when your hamster wants to play. I think it would be good for a younger child, as my little sister likes playing on it.
Can I just ask, has anyone's hamster made a ham-country thing or whatever it is???? because on the back of the game case it says that's what your hamster does! Mine hasn't!!!

5 out of 5 stars THIS IS A BRILL GAME !!!   September 24, 2007

Hi, I would say this is a great game you get to
1 pick your Hamster
2 name it
3 play mini games
4 feed your hamster
5 let it out of its cage
6 connect with your friends

And lots more I would buy this game.

5 out of 5 stars Excellent - for very very young children   September 16, 2007

This is a very simple game. My child is 4 and a half years old and really really enjoys looking after the hamsters. Initially I thought she would get bored very quickly as she has nintendogs (and can play this well) which I think has a lot more to offer in terms of what you can do with your dog. However, surprisingly, she loves this simple game. This is definitely not suitable for the older child or adult who would get bored after learning how to use it (which doesn't take long). THIS GAME IS MOST DEFINITELY FOR THE VERY VERY YOUNG CHILD AS ONE OF THEIR FIRST NINTENDO GAMES.

4 out of 5 stars it's GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOD   September 15, 2007

On another review it says its really boring and i did every thing really quick (e.g. unlocking things for your hamster). i found the complete opposite its fun to look after your hamster and its really good when your hamster wants to play, i've had the game about 2 and a half weeks and i've not done alot, it's a game that you can't play for a long amount of time which is a good thing because the game will last longer if you no what i mean. if this game is under 20 i say get it but if it's over i say wait for the price to come down. LOOK OUT FOR HAMSTERZ 2 WHICH COMES OUT THIS YEAR, IT WILL BE BETTER THAN HAMSTERZ AND HAMSTERZ IS A REALLY GOOD GAME!!!!!!!

I must say, I did find this game a little strange when I borrowed it from a friend, but it was quite funny. You play with your hamster, teach it words, feed it and clean it. Really, you're not getting anywhere and can't really unlock anything new. I think dipping into this game for five minutes or so every day could be bearable and even fun, so I am considering buying it, but might try and find it somewhere cheaper.
