4 out of 5 stars SUPERB LITTLE BOX - NEARLY PERFECT   August 28, 2008

Got my AAO 1gig 120gb yesterday and so far pretty happy. Feels well made and works well. Loaded up to my home wireless network with no issues.
Only gripe would be to ask why they did not pre load Skype. For such a portable device, with inbuilt mike and webcam I am sure this will be a main use for the thing for most people so it seams daft not to include the most commonly used free software to make it work. Took me all afternoon to load up (or rather find once downloaded) the Skype software. However now that it is in, it works fine (although I am still to find a way to put a shortcut for it on the desktop or bottom bar).
I have never used anything other than Windows, but the Linux OS supplied is totally intuative and programmes virtually identical (the spreadsheet is an Excel 'twin separated at birth' sort of affair!) The smallish keyboard is very easy to use - certainly no more awkward than most normal sized laptops.
I have not been able to get any music on it yet that the OS recognises but am sure it will not be impossible.
4 out of 5 soley because of awkwardness of adding software such as skype but I am sure I will get the hang of it after a while.
