3 out of 5 stars Not steady   April 18, 2008
After reading all the reviews, i decided to buy this mouse. It lagged when i first started to use it, the worst part is, estimation time length for the battery is 120 days, but it dropped 5 days in just 1 DAY.....

5 out of 5 stars Good stuff   April 15, 2008
Just got the mouse. It all works well with vista. It feels really good, its light, all the buttons work well, they all make life easier too! Really good mouse id reccomend buying it!

2 out of 5 stars Unreliable mouse   March 28, 2008

I like Logitech mice as had them before so I bought this one in December last year. It came to hand nicely and still does but unfortunatley it is very unrelaible with it's click ability. when you click on something or just to move the curser in a document you may have to click 3-4 times or bang it on the desk to wake it up. Not a good purchase I'm afraid.

3 out of 5 stars Good for normal use but poor for gaming.   February 10, 2008

Great mouse if u never play games.
Does everything u need and has a bit of quality along with it. Slightly smaller than a full size mouse so good if ur hands aren't very big. All the buttons feel good and hav positive clicks. Scroll wheel can b clicky or free wheeling. On Windows XP it works fine without the software, tho the zoom button doesn't work til the software is installed but i never needed them in the 2 weeks i owned it.

Rubbish for gaming tho, it doesn't feel responsive enuf and has issues being smooth in games like Call of Duty 4. Seems to skip pixels when moving. My Tevion wireless laser mouse was better than this and that cost only cost 15!
Anyway, got a Razer Boomslang mouse now and its far better for gaming, so smooth and responsive.
So buy it if u never play games, otherwise don't bother.

5 out of 5 stars Really lovely product   February 9, 2008

How can people get excited about a mouse for heaven's sake?

This mouse just does what it does, so well and with some quite surprising tricks up its sleeve.

First of all - yes, it is a good gaming mouse - not great - but good. As a gaming it's only real limitations are the search wheel (which sometimes gets depressed and interrupts your game - gnash) and, if you spend half your life playing games and get addicted enough to notice such things (sadly, that is me at 45 years of age) there is slight latency which isn't present on a wired mouse.

Secondly, the range!!!! I have given presentations, standing 60-70 feet from my machine and this mouse still works!!!!!!!! Unbelievable and veeeeeeery cool indeed.

Lastly, that scroll wheel - the two modes, 'freewheeling' (for browsing on the web or through large documents) and the 'clicky' setting for online gaming (useful for weapon changes) work great.

I might also add that the size and weight make it ideal as a laptop mouse and the usb transmitter thingy fits securely inside the body of the mouse which makes it less easy to lose.

The only drawbacks with this thing is that it is so sexy that theft is a constant problem - if you can't completely trust those around you. I might also add that the Logitech software gave my Vista laptop big problems and had to be uninstalled, but the mouse does everything I want it to even without it.

Thoroughly recommended, particulary at less than 30 quid and a much less fiddly and silly product than the MX Revolution which costs so much more and lacks the range of this amazing product.
