 Had it for ages April 12, 2008
I bought one of these about 5 years ago when it was 30! but it is still working without a hitch, compatible with every windows operating sysyetm i've had. Brilliant webcam works on msn etc. and does exactly what you want it to do.

There are significantly better cameras to buy (also in the same price range), that you should not even be wasting your time reading reviews.

The image quality is very good if you are using it in a well-lit room and facing towards light. It gets hazy/dark if light is less or the distance is more. My sony camcorder does a better job of a webcam than this one. But this does not need to be powered by any cable so handy to use. It also does not have an arrangement to be clipped on the laptop, but has a triagular base, so you can keep it on some raised object.

I see the price is back up to 11 quid, but I managed to get 2 last week at a fiver each. Its worth five stars at that price easily.
The picture is not great, but its ok and you can tweek it with the controls.
Its a good first time webcam for me.

If you buy this particular webcam for this price I can guarantee you will not regret it. For the price, the quality is superb. Because of its flat base you can stand the webcam on your hardrive / computer table or if you prefer you can remove it from its little stand and hook it over your monitor.
This webacam also comes with software which enables you to take video clips as well as pictures and is also compatible with MSN messenger.
Although it's a very cheap and basic webcame, it does exactly what it says on the tin (plus a little bit more)
