Receiver easily breaks - no parts in UK September 28, 2008 A major issue with this is the receiver, as mine broke after 2 months i bought the mice. When i moved with my laptop, the receiver hit a small corner n broke. I am currently ordering one from US as logitech dont supply spare parts in europe, atleast thats what the customer support guy said. This is a very frustrating and expensive affair. I would recommend to buy a nano mouse that has the small receiver. This really saves you a lot of money, effort and frustration.
The quality of the mouse is very good. The precision of mouse when you use the on anything is very good. I have used it on sofa, carpet, thighs, cloth, book and have found no issues in controlling teh pointer. The distance covered is very good too.
Great little mouse September 26, 2008 Much smaller than a normal mouse, but perfect for carrying in a laptop case - they even give you a pouch for it. Comfortable on the hands, but might take a tiny bit of getting used to.
Best mouse ever used! September 3, 2008 I bought this mouse about two months ago and I have to say that it's the best mouse I have ever used, and I have used quite a few. It's easy to set up, just plug in the USB device, place batteries which are supplied into the mouse and away you go! No CD ROM to worry about or setup of any kind. It can easily be used on PC or laptop without any hassle and comes with its own case. Well worth the money, I would definately reccomend this item.
Absolutely chuffed with this thing! August 19, 2008 Four things make this mouse awesome: (1) the pouch it comes in (2) it's plug and play - you can't beat plug and play, you plug it in and it works, simple as that, genius. And the software is optional, what more could you ask for (3) the compartment 'in the mouse' where the USB connector fits, genius! When you take the USB connector out the mouse is automatically turned on, plug the USB connector back in and the mouse is automatically turned off to save on battery, genius, again! (4) the sensitivity of the sensor. No lag whatsoever. Can be sat at the other side of the room and operate your computer!
Tried it on three different computers so far too, worked within seconds on every single one, genius!
The only concern is for the battery, as the last portable mouse I had eat batteries like they were ckicken nuggets! But hopefully this aspect of the mouse will live upto the quality of its features.
Absolutely chuffed! If you're thinking about buying one, don't think about it, just buy one!
Wonderful little gadget June 15, 2008 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
Purchased this little mouse (19.99) on the basis of other reviews here. Tremendous little mouse this is. No software to mess around with, no CD loading. It's simply plug 'n' play. Push in the USB wireless adaptor thingie into a free USB port and, in my case Vista, the computer simply recognises it and loads the driver. From then it's plain sailing. Mouse action is extremly smooth and the wheel is very precise. When finished you can even take out the adaptor from the computer and push back into the the appropreate bit on the mouse itself which in turn then auto switches off the batteries. (small light tells you) Also has a manual switch off of the batteries as well if required. All in all a super piece of technology.
BTW: also tried this on my older Xp machine and again it functioned without a hitch. So thankyou for independent reviews.
