 Great game - must buy at this price June 8, 2008
This game retains most of the fun and the features of the PS2 version. Some bits are missing, like the commentary but so what. Really good fun and addictive. The fewer buttons actually make it more fun!

Although when you get on the pitch you have pretty good graphics There are downsides.
1. In my opinion the loading times take ages and will will really annoy you, even for corners there are loading times.
2. Also there is hardly any commentary.
STILL IT IS WAY BETTER THAN FIFA AND HAS GRAET GRAPHICS. Worth a punt!

Ok no stadium choice and no commentary (apart from the few words spoken when a goal is scored)...i really don't see the problem there.
The gameplay is improved for sure and it is now actually possible to score from a free kick!...however the dept at Konami in charge of making sure the players look like the stars they are supposed to be must have gone on holiday when this game was in the works....in the last PES player likeness was superb, now its rubbish...with most players resembling Max Headroom!
Oh and the World Tour mode is really quite pointless, why couldn't they put all that design effort into the gameplay of commentary?
Having said all that it is a better game for sure. Tackling and dribbling are lots better.

this new release is money well spent. master league is hugely improved with a better transfer sytem.
new mode wold tour is hugely enjoable as well.
buy it now!
