Great read, in one word simplication August 9, 2007 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
Fantastic book full of 'blinding flashes of the obvious'. Perfect for all those in online product management particularly, through to designers, developers and yes CEO's! The sentiments in the book have aged well and it is must read for anyone who has a part in online usability and design.
Yes, I read it while on holiday !?! July 11, 2007 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
This is a must read for experienced web designers / developers. I read this book while lying beside a swimming pool in Cyprus. It is short and well written enough to be read without feeling like you're studying a technical manual. The real genius is that it all sounds so blindingly obvious you wonder why you haven't thought about it before. This book will change your perspective on the web design process and make you realise your designs are only as good as their usability.
Absolute must read for all web designers. May 23, 2007 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
This is a book that you can read in less than a day, and will make the pages you design slicker and so much easier to navigate.
Reading it should save you several days of usability headaches on the project you work on currently, and many more on subsequent projects.
Clear, simple, concise advise on making sure that the pages you design will attract and retain readers.
couple with a good CSS book and a thorough read of the xhtml specifications, you should be well on your way to building fantastic websites.
could not recommend it enough.

Made Me Think... May 14, 2007 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
I believe I made changes to several websites after just a couple of chapters and they're much better for it.
Some of the points appear to be common sense and obvious, but only once you've read them!
I would describe this book as a must-read for web designers.
Fantastic book! February 22, 2007 3 out of 5 found this review helpful
Easy to read... it covers all of the important principles for usability.
It's not the A-Z of website testing and usability... but it has some important principles which I now apply daily.
