Definitely the best "teach yourself computing book" I've ever read. Clear, concise, with good examples, Lemay introduces different topics in a coherent and ordered manner. I will certainly be on the look-out for other titles by this author.

This is a book suited for beginners to HTML and experts looking for a reference book. It starts from basics and assumes no prior knowledge. A beginner may start the book and read a chapter a day re-enforcing learnt skills with exercises and FAQ's at the end of each chapter. In 21 days you will complete the book with First hand up to date information and skills in Web Design. It covers everything to do with building a Web Page from scratch . It is also suited for Experts wanting to catch up on the latest developments or requiring a book for reference. It covers topics such as how to use and create Animated GIF's, Image Maps, Java applets, frames and CSS to name a few. It also gives ample information on the impending XHTML and Dynmaic HTML revolution and how to prepare for it. It is a thorough and well written book with a good teaching technique and numerous examples.
