I found these difficult to attach July 1, 2008 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
Maybe I'm just ham-fisted, but I found it very difficult to get these stuck on satisfactorily. The first two attempts resulted in small bubbles under the screen protector which couldn't be pressed out to the side.
I ended up using all three before I was happy with the result, so I haven't got any spares. All in all it seems an expensive way of making up for the fact that the silicon skin has a big hole in it. Call me cynical, but Creative seem determined to sell as many add-ons as possible.
About the SCREEN PROTECTORS... May 21, 2008 6 out of 6 found this review helpful
Ignore the other reviewer, they are not reviewing this product, just using the space to have a rant.
About the SCREEN PROTECTORS: Good points: They come in packs of three, much better than the cheaper imitations, better value for money Very hard wearing, mine seem to last a year or so at a time Easy to apply if you think about it
Bad points: Could do with being slightly larger as they literally only cover the screen, so get it wrong and it might irritate the perfectionists among you!
Very good product, very worth it if you plan to carry the Zen without a case, in the leather case or skin as all of these leave the screen unprotected.
Incidently, the screen on these is exactly the same size as that of the Creative Zen Vision:m, just in case anyone has a spare one of those lying around
Appalling customer service from Creative February 29, 2008 1 out of 18 found this review helpful
The MP3 player itself is great, although the software that comes with it is not as good as with previous models. But the earphones are of a poor quality, mine broke after one month's useage. I had done nothing to cause the breakage, I have only used my MP3 player whilst walking around and sitting at my desk, but it seems the earphones are manufactured to such a low standard that this proved too much for them. The cable snapped at the base, exposing the wires within. Creative refused to take any responsibility for the fault, refused to replace the earphones despite them only being a month old, and also inferred that I had broken them myself. They basically accused me of lying to try to get a replacement pair, and were so unbelievably obtuse and unhelpful that I rapidly lost my patience with them.
My advice is that this product is great while it's working, but don't expect any help or support from Creative if anything goes wrong.
